From Confusion to Clarity: Why I Chose to Rewrite the Rules for the Next Generation 💡

It was the year 1989. I was a 15-year-old boy in Grade X, dreaming of becoming a Doctor — not just because of societal influence, but also because Biology was my favourite subject.

Back then, I used to read Career Success Review (CSR) magazines to access sample question papers and inspiring success stories. I still remember one particular issue that featured how many IITians were choosing IAS services and making headlines with their success.

That article changed everything.

My elder brother — my biggest guide for education and career choices — was deeply impressed. Seeing the social status attached to IAS officers, he began urging me to switch to Maths and take up Engineering, despite knowing I wasn’t naturally inclined toward it.

📉 I struggled with Maths — stumbling, surviving, but never thriving.

Yet, I followed the path laid before me. I got into Engineering, secured a job at BEL (a PSU), became Deputy Director (Ministry of IT), and later worked in global tech giants like IBM and CSC as a Project & Program Management Professional.

On paper, it was success.
But inside, a different truth lived.

 I still believe I could have achieved much greater heights in the medical field — because that’s where my true passion was.

My strengths have always leaned more towards human interaction and service rather than technology.

Eventually, I was convinced to pursue an Engineering career, followed by an attempt at IAS. Somehow, I managed to crack the state government Engineering entrance, got admission, and completed my BTech in ECE stream.

But most importantly, after four years of grinding through Engineering studies — which felt more exhausting than exciting — I lost the aspiration to study further for IAS.

A Mission Born from My Missteps 🚀:
